Practice Nurses

Our practice nurses are now an indispensable part of our clinical team, supporting our doctors and coordinating care and accessing services for our patients. Some of these services may include podiatry, physiotherapy,occupational therapy and psychology sessions.


Grew up in the Sutherland Shire. She graduated from Sydney University in 1998 and completed a graduate diploma in Critical Care in 2001.

Julie has worked at both the Prince of Wales and Sutherland Hospitals in a variety of settings including general wards, ICU, anaesthetics/theatre, Hospital in the Home and Post Acute care services. She has also worked in Aged Care for a number of years at a local nursing home.

Julie began practice nursing in 2010. She is an accredited nurse immuniser and has her certificate in Well Women’s Screening.

Julie enjoys all aspects of her role including children, women’s’ health, aged care and preventative medicine, as well as assisting with minor surgery. Julie is dedicated to patient care, reflected by her commitment to ongoing education.


Joined our practice in August 2013. Judy grew up in the Sutherland Shire, graduating from Sydney University in 1989.
Judy has extensive experience in the paediatric field, working in various nursing roles throughout Sydney Children’s Hospital Randwick for 18 years.

Judy started in the role of Practice Nurse in 2011. She is an accredited nurse immuniser and Community Diabetes facilitator.

Judy enjoys the variety of nursing care and patient contact that practice nursing provides and is committed to ongoing education and training.


Due to the current pandemic Home visits are available for patients in the immediate area (Caringbah to Cronulla).

The cost of a home visit is $55 including GST.

Joined the practice in 2013. Jennifer graduated as a Tresillian Mothercraft nurse in 1984 and initially worked for many years in nurseries (0-2yrs) within the long day care sector.

She completed her Workplace Cert IV (1994) and became a qualified trainer in Child Care, working for several years in private institutions and Sutherland/St George Community College.

Jennifer was employed for 6 years at Sutherland Family Support Services, working as a nurse assisting “at risk” mothers & babies. There she also gained a qualification as a “Triple P” facilitator (Positive Parenting Program) enabling her to educate parents and grandparents in appropriate parenting strategies for ages 0-5years. She also worked voluntarily for the Sutherland Shire Post-natal Depression Group.

Jennifer has worked as a clinic nurse within the Sutherland Shire for 7 years assisting parents of 0-2 year olds in such areas as feeding, settling/sleeping, physical and emotional development. She has raised 3 children of her own & is passionate about her role in providing support for the entire family unit and continues to keep updated with any relevant information which will benefit the well being of mother and child.

The National Home Doctor Service on 13 74 25. They are available weeknights 7pm-6am, weekends from noon Saturday to 6.00am Monday and Public holidays from 7am-6am the following morning.

Appointments, requests for scripts and referrals, and medical advice cannot be provided via email. Please call the surgery (9527 4100) to make an appointment or REQUEST A CALL BACK.
