Project Description

Nursing Services

Burraneer Family Practice has embraced the evolution of the Practice Nurse.

Our practice nurses are now an indispensable part of our clinical team, supporting our doctors and coordinating care and accessing services for our patients. Some of these services may include podiatry, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and psychology sessions.

The nursing staff also provides various appointment based services including chronic disease management, health assessments, immunisations, PAP smears and wound dressings.

Our practice’s newly built facilities included a well equipped treatment room. This has enabled our clinical staff to handle minor emergencies and perform various procedures in a highly functional environment which meets all the up to date criteria set by The Royal College of General Practice.

See ‘Early Childhood Nurse’ information in this section.
