Fee Schedule
- The last practice fee increase was on 1st July 2016.
- All consultations are timed by the Doctors and fees are scaled according to the time devoted to a consultation.
- A standard consultation is an appointment duration of 5 – 20minutes.
- A long consultation is an appointment duration of 20 – 40 minutes.
- We continue to discount our fees for all children and any patients we feel have a reduced income
This involves spending time with our patients and a commitment to thoroughness. The doctors in this practice see an average 3 to 4 patients per hour. We believe we provide a quality alternative to the “high turnover”, bulk billing clinics in this area. We discount our fees for pensioners, all children and the over 75s.
Childhood immunisations, veterans and antenatal shared care visits are bulk billed. For families with more than one sick child seen on the same day, subsequent children will be bulk billed.
By reducing our fees in these ways we believe our policy is fair, but please let us know if you are experiencing any difficulties.

Medicare rebate:
Staff are more than happy to lodge your claim to Medicare for your rebate on your behalf. Please authorise them to do so at time of payment.
We continue to discount our fees for all children and any patients we feel have a reduced income as follows:

Bulk Billed

Fees for our services that are not covered by Medicare
Excisions and procedures: $50 (depending on complexity)
Yellow fever vaccine: $115 in addition to a long consultation.
If requesting any of the following without an appointment:
Repeat Prescriptions: Up to $20.00
Referral Renewals: $20.00 per item
Reports/Copies of records: $110.00 per 20 mins
Accounts are not issued. Payment by Cash and EFTPOS is available
Worker’s compensation or Work Injury Consultations.
Patients are responsible for all accounts until they provide a claim number from the insurance company. Contact details need to be provided for direct billing and payment from the insurance company.
Prior to these details being provided, the patient is to ensure payment is made on the day of consultation.

The National Home Doctor Service on 13 74 25. They are available weeknights 7pm-6am, weekends from noon Saturday to 6.00am Monday and Public holidays from 7am-6am the following morning.
